Fees and Health Insurance

We are mainly an out-of-network provider. If you wish, you will be provided with a monthly invoice to submit to insurance for reimbursement. Some of our therapists accept a limited few insurances through a platform called hello alma, if your insurance is in network, we will guide you on how to set up through hello alma.

 

We believe that everyone deserves access to quality mental health care and seek to clear a pathway to clients who otherwise would not be able to seek care otherwise. If this is you, we offer a sliding scale which can be discussed in your consultation call.

 

All patients have a right to a Good Faith Estimate, which estimates how much your mental health care might cost.

The initiation of the patient-provider dispute resolution process will not adversely affect the quality of the services furnished to you.

Where are your sessions held?

We offer sessions both in-person at our cozy office in Huntington, NY, and virtually via a HIPAA-compliant video platform for clients residing in New York State. This flexibility allows you to choose the setting that best suits your needs and preferences.

How do virtual sessions work?

Our virtual therapy sessions are conducted using a HIPAA-compliant video platform, ensuring your privacy and confidentiality. These sessions offer the same high-quality care as in-person sessions and are available to residents of New York and Florida.

What therapeutic approaches do you use?

Our approach is eclectic, drawing on a variety of therapeutic modalities to tailor interventions to each client's unique needs and goals. We specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Do you accept insurance?

We are primarily an out-of-network provider. However, some of our therapists accept a limited number of insurance plans through Hello Alma. If your insurance is in-network, we will guide you through the setup process with Hello Alma to ensure smooth coverage. We also provide monthly invoices that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

What if I can't afford therapy?

We believe everyone deserves access to quality mental health care. To support clients who might otherwise be unable to afford therapy, we offer a sliding scale fee structure. This can be discussed during your consultation call to ensure you receive the care you need within your budget.
